The RB W8 showing is located approximately 20 kilometres south-southeast from the confluence of the Stikine and Chutine rivers.

This showing occurs in a granodioritic pluton of the late Early Jurassic Cone Mountain Plutonic Suite.

Sample W8 was taken from a 1-metre-wide quartz vein, up to 50 metres west of a southwest flowing stream, and traceable for 25 metres. The vein was reported to contain galena, sphalerite, and chalcopyrite. Sample W8 assayed 0.13 per cent lead, 7.3 grams per tonne silver, 134 parts per million copper, 72 parts per million zinc, and 6 parts per billion gold (Sample 90-G1-W08, Figure 4, Assessment Report 21145). A 2-metre-wide shear zone with some veining occurs in granodiorite about 100 metres downstream.
